Driving As A Way Of Life

Depending on how one do and see it, driving a car may differ whether it’s enjoyable, boring, or uncomfortable. The bottom line is, we drive cars to get to our destination.

The reality is, cars are now deemed a necessity for several people much like how they need electricity and water. Choosing to drive a car than to take public transport to get to work can be the measurement of promotion or getting fired from work, particularly if the only option of route that we take is often traffic. Driving whilst within a car is more well-situated than having to hang around for the next bus or train schedule then walking a number of yards to get to the site you need to get to.

A car’s comfort, however, varies from place to place. If your area doesn’t go through traffic jams on a regular basis, then you are fortunate to have a car. You also have an easier decision to take either your car or public transpo without having to be concerned which option is most excellent to take you there a lot faster. You also don’t have to worry much about your gas consumption exceeding and pay for the next time you gas up if ever you get into a traffic jam.

But, if you live in a place where traffic jams are an everyday occurrence, chances are you might have it easier than other people. In fact, there’s definitely more individuals who are unluckier than you because they almost certainly have to get up at an earlier time than you just to escape traffic.

Here are some of the places where driving could be taxing.

Los Angeles, California, USA: According to 3 out of 5 people that live in America, Los Angeles has the worst traffic in all 50 states. Los Angeles also has the highest quantity of air pollution as a result of too many cars on the road. Motorists spend hours stuck in traffic.

Mumbai, India: Besides pothole-riddled roads, drivers have to share roads with carts pushed or pulled by oxen, bicycles, or people. A motorist in Mumbai has to be cautious not to smash into any of these and have no other alternative but to give way to them even though roads are really just meant for cars. The crowded roads and streets of Mumbai also come to a standstill when animals considered as sacred such as cows decide to cross or lie down in the middle of the street.

Hong Kong: The quantity of cars in Hong Kong keeps on growing every year but Hong Kong’s roads are becoming too narrow to accommodate them. The cost in widening Hong Kong’s roads will amount to billions of dollars because buildings have to be demolished and plenty of people will have to be uprooted.

Manila, Philippines: Traffic occurs almost everyday in Mainla. Besides rush hours, lack of discipline is the highest problem. Passenger vehicles generally cause the most traffic in Manila where jeeps and buses stop wherever they choose to to get passengers that leads to accidents and mishaps. The only days where driving can be relaxing and fun in Manila are Sundays and Holidays since people are spending their free time in their homes.

These places are just few of the many ones where driving can prove stressful. These days, driving cars should be patient and should think positively when it comes to driving in traffic to be not as much stressful and maybe fun.
